Reporting advertising metrics accurately is crucial to keeping advertisers happy on your platform. Accurately measuring the number of impressions/clicks on their ads in promoted slots, along with the return on their ad spend is crucial to having advertisers continue to utilize your advertising system. Currently, we offer a few built in statistics you can track,
clicks natively, along with custom statistics on request (
purchases for example).
Impressions must be tracked server-side once the auction has finished running, and winners have been selected. Impressions generally don't cost anything for sellers, as, by default, Brist ads operate on a cost per click model (this is configurable, however).
Clicks can be tracked using our server-side SDKs as well. Be sure to report clicks to Brist accurately, as advertisers are charged based on their bid per click of their ads.
